 ::: Note from Club Manager
The kind of atmosphere Body & Soul would like to develop at the club is a place where a family can spend a day. We want people to get to know each other better and understand different cultures. There could be other opportunities arising by introducing one's self to another such as a business deal, a social event or even becoming very good friends. We need to spread the real meaning of valuing each other and learning from each other. We all have a motive in coming to the gym and certainly must work towards achieving the objectives of visiting the gym. They say in life there is NO PAIN, NO GAIN.
At this point I would like to highlight of a client who is a regular comer to the gym and can't think a day without her visit at Body & Soul. Ms Mithu Shivdasani is one of our member who joined us in Oct 2008 and successfully acheived her target which was 5kgs and getting tonned. A middle aged lady with such immense drive and commitment to herself and body & soul is remarkable. She truly belives that age is not a factor its the will with ofcourse the best supervision. Ms Mithu feels that no other club than Body & Soul takes personal interest and works with you as a family which is important for members.

::: HEALTH BITES:::
CARROTS
Beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A, is especially important for eye health. It’s also of great benefit to the skin, and the immune and digestive systems. Carrots are also loaded with fiber and water, which cleanse the liver, boosted oxification and plump out skin to stave off wrinkles.

Fighting Heart Disease with Fruit
Boosting your daily fruit and vegetable intakes could help protect you from heart disease, say scientists.

Scientists found that a boost in vitamin C intake has been shown to cut the risk of death from heart disease.
Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is commonly used to boost the immune system toward off colds and the flu, and is an antioxidant that destroys harmful substances in the body, called free radicals, that can cause cancer.

Fresh fruit such as oranges, grapefruit, apples, bananas and green vegetables are good sources of vitamin C.
